Lisa developed this approach after training as an Integrative Coach & Therapist and gaining accreditation as a Meditation Coach. After successfully teaching over 1000 clients to meditate via sell out UK Group Workshops, Meditation Retreats in Ibiza and Bordeaux and in her One to One Executive & Life Coaching private practices in London and Cheshire Lisa felt an approach and a technique coming together from experience, which she could see was really getting results for her clients.
This is how SHINE Meditation was born, developed organically but based on research, and from clients' responses to what worked for them and what helped them the most. Lisa purposely designed SHINE Meditation to be taught easily over a couple of hours, to meet with client demands and feedback.
SHINE Meditation has been statistically validated through a Standardised 6 Week Trial & Evaluation process, with a group of 40 participants. The RESULTS show that 100% of participants who followed the protocol as taught showed a strongly significant improvement in Mental Wellbeing, Emotional Wellbeing and 'Satisfaction with Life' - all were measured using standardised and validated evaluation tools.
A word from Lisa
After redesigning my own life following an executive business career which had left me jaded, I followed my early passion for Psychology, which I had wanted to do since my degree at London University. I’d always had a natural curiosity about the mind and what makes people tick, so retraining to become an Integrative Coach & Therapist was the best move I ever made! Whilst on my own new path of self awareness and personal transformation, I became fascinated with the science of the Mind-Body Connection and also with the science of Stress and Meditation. This all lead me to take up my own daily meditation practice which quite honestly was an absolute game changer for me! I was really excited to share the gift with others, so I took extensive training to become accredited as a Meditation Coach, Teacher and Trainer. Several years in, I distilled and refined my learning and experiences to create my own technique called SHINE, which is really a blend of all that I know, to help people change and internally re-wire at a neural level. The SHINE Program is more than a meditation technique, it is a complete self-coaching system, and my aim was to make the style, presentation and the techniques themselves accessible and easy to understand. Since using SHINE I've enjoyed increased mental clarity and physical calmness. Also I find it really good for easing emotional turmoil or overwhelm caused by multitasking. Physically I've noticed big changes, I had all sorts of problems with my tummy for quite some time (IBS & gluten allergy just to name a few) and after a week of doing SHINE the cramps on the left side of tummy slowly started to ease, this was a huge thing for me!! I've also been sleeping a lot better! It is now my go to for relief from overwhelm or anxiety. I would have never guessed all that can be sorted by meditating! Since starting SHINE I have felt more relaxed, more energised and more present with my body, when I feel something I can tune in and notice it and ask what is bothering me. I feel more clear and with less 'brain fog' I can see possibilities.
